This Man Has Not Showered For 12 Years, The Reason Will Surprise You

This Man Has Not Showered For 12 Years, The Reason Will Surprise You

Dave Whitlock, a US businessman, has not taken a bath for 12 years because he wants to preserve skin bacteria. Instead of having a bath, Dave sprays Mother Dirt, a mist that contain live bacteria, on his skin two times a day. The mist is made by a Cambridge-based firm, AOBiomein, which Dave is a co-founder.

The chemical engineer said that he has not taken a bath in 12 years. He further said that no one did clinical tests on individuals taking showers daily. Therefore, what is the basis for thinking that it is a good and healthy practice. Jasmina Aganovic of AOBiome said that these products save time because people only have to spray two times a day. These products are made for skin with live microorganisms.

Jasmina said that people have taken the dirt out of their lives. They don’t spend as much time outside as they used to. She further said that their users are able to decrease their dependence on traditional products.

Two Five-Year-Old Boys Escape Kindergarten To Buy A Sports Car

Two Five-Year-Old Boys Escape Kindergarten To Buy A Sports Car

In what could be the best mastermind plan ever hatched by children, two five-year-olds from Russia have dug a tunnel to run away from nursery. The two kids used spades to dig a tunnel as their way out of the kindergarten in order to buy a Jaguar. Two boys prepared their great escape for several days and waited until the supervisors were looking the other way before they ran away.

The kindergarten staff noticed they were missing after half an hour. By that time, the young children had walked over a mile to the car showroom where they were noticed by a female driver who asked them what they were doing. They responded they had come to buy a Jaguar, but didn’t have any money. She took them to the police station, and local authorities fired the supervisor in charge at the time of the kids’ escape.

Adults Reveal Their Memories Of Imaginary Friends - Video

Adults Reveal Their Memories Of Imaginary Friends

Almost from minute one, kids are encouraged to let their imaginations soar — and there’s no better way for them to do that than create some imaginary friends. They may end up going by the wayside as the kids get older, but even the most cynical adult probably can’t turn a cold shoulder. Enter: this video, which lets a host of people relive the glory days.

There’s plenty to laugh at in terms of absurdity — because no man can resist the allure of an archaeologist bull — but it’s hard to look at these people wax nostalgic without wanting to reminisce with them. Those imaginary friends were a part of them, so it’s only natural to want to honor those old friends, and respect these men and women for sharing. Of course, it’s only a matter of time before viewers think back to their imaginary pals — in which case, the video does at least one thing right.

Heartwarming moments abound, even if they make viewers remember vaudeville-garbed rabbits — who then have to deal with older brothers and their imagined scorpion-based bullies. That’s an esoteric example, but a possible one all the same. See video below:

British Man Charged After Trying To Sell Leopard And Bear Parts From Home

British Man Charged After Trying To Sell Leopard And Bear Parts From Home

These days, selling and trading items online is common enough to not be worth a second look. Some trades can raise eyebrows, but others can cross lines in the time it takes to send an email. One man found that out the hard way; he’s facing criminal charges for the mere ownership of animal parts, let alone the trade of them.

The police in Cowdenbeath stormed the home and found the remains — bear and leopard body parts, and by extension the parts of endangered species. The plan was to trade those animal parts to willing buyers for major cash; wildlife trade has proven as lucrative as it is illegal, and even something as simple as bear bile fetches a high price.

The strange part of the case is that the crime — long since brought to the attention of the National Wildlife Crime Unit and the World Wildlife Fund — occurred in the UK. That isn’t exactly a prime location for trade or acquisition, considering that the nearly-extinct leopard is found in Africa and southeast parts of Asia. Still, one can only hope that for the animals’ sake that this is an isolated incident.

A middle-aged man has been arrested by police in Nigeria after he was apprehended following a kidnapping of an 8-year-old boy from his school. The boy was returning home from a summer coaching class when he was abducted by the man, identified locally as Jonathan Cooker, who then attempted to trade him to a shop owner in exchange for soft drinks.

According to news reports, the man entered a shop in the Surulere region of Lagos in Nigeria with the boy claiming that the child was his younger brother. He then tried to purchase four crates of fizzy drinks at a cost of around $250 but when it became clear he didn’t have enough money he suggested leaving the child as collateral while he went home to get more money. The shop owner agreed, not knowing that the man wasn’t really his brother and never intended on returning.

Fortunately a passer-by recognized the boy. After it became clear he had been taken by a stranger the kidnapper was quickly arrested and brought to a local police station.

An Arizona man is in hospital after he shot himself while apparently trying to demonstrate to friends exactly how safe his new gun was. Christen Reece, a 23-year-old man from Phoenix was trying to show off the double safety feature on a handgun when the weapon discharged and fired into his head.

According to Jim Molesa, chief deputy of the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office, Reece and some of his friends were drinking late when they decided to go and try out some of their guns. The victim then put the gun to his head to demonstrate the safety feature would not allow it to fire unexpectedly. “They were partying in the Valley, and then when the bars closed around 2 or 3, someone said, ‘Let’s go to the high country and shoot guns,’” Molesa says. “He held the gun up to head, a little behind the temple area, and fired.

His friends then panicked and unknowing what to do, immediately called the

Police Foil Nutella Heist In Italy

Italian police have stopped a group of criminals who attempted to steal a huge amount of the chocolate spread Nutella from a supermarket in Sarzana. Three men tried to steal almost 30kg of the product before they were caught by authorities and then arrested.

Local news reports state that the three men entered the supermarket in the Ligurian region of Italy on Saturday carrying large rucksacks. They then filled up each of the bags with as much Nutella as possible, stuffing them with jars that weigh up to 1kg and then tried to leave the store without grabbing attention. However, store staff had noticed the trio of criminals and alerted police, who stopped the gang as they were about to flee.

According to the police, they had managed to fit almost $200 worth of the chocolate spread into the rucksacks before they were caught. They believe that they were aiming to sell the food on the black market, where it is in high demand thanks to its high retail price.

Burglar Caught By Calling 911 After Being Stuck In An Elevator

A burglar has been caught in Delaware after he was forced to call 911 for help after becoming trapped in an elevator while he was in the middle of a burglary. Michael Claude, a 19-year-old male from New Jersey, was travelling in the service elevator after breaking into Laurel Middle School when it became stuck and he couldn’t get out.

The man later rang police after it became apparent that he wasn’t going to be freed any time soon, officers then contacted a maintenance engineer who was able to pry open the elevator doors to let Claude out, though he was promptly arrested by members of the police force who were there.

Police believe that the man had broken into the school earlier in the night and could be seen on CCTV footage riding down the hallway on a buffing machine moments before he entered the elevator. They found him wearing a stolen Laurel letterman jacket and have since charged him with third-degree burglary, criminal mischief and theft. Claude has since been released on bail with a $3,800 bond while police investigate further.

Angry Zimbabwe Elephant Attacks People At Dinner Table

A shocking video shows two men being attacked by an elephant while out on safari in Zimbabwe. Stephen Montague and his family set up to eat dinner as the elephant slowly approached the group. The people were advised to stay as still as possible. At first, it doesn’t look like the elephant was going to attack. The animal sits back and eats as Montague and his brother-in-law, Shane Wolf, look over their shoulder at the animal.

There’s some controversy involved in what appeared in front of the elephant. One of the family members told a newspaper that a guard they were traveling with threw a piece of food to the elephant to deter it from the table. However, the video uploader mentions that a pod fell from the tree. Either way, it didn’t work, and the elephant heads over to the table and attacks Montague and Wolf. No serious injuries were sustained and the family continued on their safari after the incident.

Flower Show Uses DNA Testing For Gigantomo Tomato Contest

A flower show in the United Kingdom will be giving DNA tests to tomatoes that are entered in a “biggest weight” contest that holds an even bigger award at the end. However, something like this always spawns some sort of cheating to get an edge. The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show responded to concerns of cheating in the Gigantomo class of tomatoes, announcing that the DNA of each plant will be tested to ensure that it has been grown properly and within the rules. A reward of £1,000 will be given to the winner, and an additional £5,000 pounds will be awarded if it breaks the Guinness World Record of 7.7 pounds (3.5kg).

The director of the show, Nick Smith, told The Mirror that gigantic vegetable growing is popular and wanted to make sure it was fair for everybody: “‘When experienced growers contacted us to express concern about making sure that the new class for Gigantomo would feature only specimens from that variety, we set out to find a way of being as certain as we possibly can that the winner has the right pedigree.’” Other giant vegetable contests, including carrots, potatoes, and cabbage, will also be taking place.

New Algorithm Developed By Researchers Can Detect When Smartphone Users Are Bored

New Algorithm Developed By Researchers Can Detect When Smartphone Users Are Bored

Is your Smartphone getting too smart? You may not feel that way now, but wait until it gives you an alert every time you are bored. A team of researchers working at Telefonica Research in Barcelona have created a new algorithm that is capable of detecting every time you get bored. The team intends to use this algorithm to push new and interesting content whenever the phone senses that the user is looking for something more. The team behind this interesting algorithm stated that an alternative use for this new technology could be to tell users to try other forms of entertainment or do something else whenever the smartphone gets the idea that the users are being too repetitive in its usage.

This algorithm was developed around the notion that boredom can foster creativity, so that users can be directed towards new information every time the phone senses repetition, for example, when you check your Facebook page too many times in an hour. This prospect is actually quite fascinating and could go a long way in helping us make the most out of the technology in our hands and the information freely available all around us.

Official First Look At YouTube Gaming

Official First Look At YouTube Gaming

There is no telling how many mediums we will see in the near-future thanks to the continued expansion of the internet and its user base. The newest one to enthrall a specific segment of the population is YouTube gaming. This new genre introduced by YouTube recently, allows users to post, share and comment on various videos and live-streams of in-game footage.

Although this might seem like a slightly mundane concept, the gaming community has been going gaga over this development and didn’t even hesitate to bring down Jimmy Kimmel when he suggested that the idea might be stupid. Gamers will get to experience detailed in-game footage of thousands of games posted by other gamers, leading to discussions and dissections of their favorite games. The concept certainly has potential and by the look of this video posted by YouTube, it looks like it is fairly well fleshed out as well.

Comedic Actor Makes Major Strides In Guatemala Presidential Election

The rising levels of corruption in various world governments has seen the emergence of many interesting, independent candidates over the past few years. Guatemala has faced a similar situation when their former President, Otto Perez, resigned after facing massive corruption charges. The new election has seen the emergence of popular comedic actor Jimmy Morales who has coasted his way into the position of leading candidate.

The actor has made his way to the top of the polls using the slogan ‘not corrupt, not a thief’. This seems to reflect the sentiments of the people who are looking to change the political landscape of the country by voting for an alternative party. The second round of voting is supposed to take place on October 25, and Morales has promised a transparent government if he does win the upcoming round. Morales played on his humble background of selling bananas and used clothes as a youth and drew constant references to his hit television series ‘Morals’, that seemed to have made a connection with the people. The world remains glued to these fascinating events as the country could possibly see an entertainer occupying the highest post in government very soon.

World’s Best Chess Player Nearly Beats Manager In 30 Seconds

Magnus Carlsen, one of the world’s greatest chess players from Norway, challenged his manager to a game of blitz chess. The objective is to complete a game of chess with a much smaller allotted time than in regular chess. However, Carlsen, being as great as he is, wanted to up his challenge. His manager, Espen Agdestein, was given three minutes to play while Carlsen had only 30 seconds.

The result is one of the fastest games of blitz chess ever played. It starts off a touch slow from Agdestein, who takes his time on a few moves as he surveys the board. However, Carlsen never spends more than a millisecond on a move. His mind moves at such a pace that only his physical ability is limited to in moving the pieces. That’s what cost him in the end as Carlsen was nearing a victory against his manager as time was running out.

The footage dates back to 2012 and shows Bance peeing into a cup while on a service call, after which he poured down the sink.

A Conservative party spokesman stated that “Mr. Bance is no longer a candidate” and the man himself said he deeply regrets the incident and it doesn’t reflect who he is as person or professional. The opposition had a field trip with the incident, mocking the Conservatives. “He must be someone who is adept at Stephen Harper’s trickle-down theory of economics,” said Tom Mulcair, the New Democrat leader.

Pastor Commits Suicide Due To Ashley Madison’s Hack

A pastor who had an account on the extra marital affairs website Ashley Madison has committed suicide. Those close to John Gibson say he had been struggling with depression and the revelation that he was a member of the website appear to have pushed him over the edge. The pastor and professor at New Orleans Baptist Seminary was also a father of two and he committed suicide about six days after the Ashley Madison list leaked.

He talked about his depression, he talked about having his name on there, and he just said he was very, very sorry,” his widow Christi recently told CNN. “For John, it carried such a shame.” People who knew Gibson said that he was recognized as being a kind man who made a mistake in signing up for the website. Ashley Madison was hacked in July and a massive listing of people who were members was released online. Gibson’s is not believed to be the first suicide stemming from that hack.

Johnny Strange, a stage performer and man who specializes in sword swallowing and getting unusual world records, is set to feature in the next Guinness Book of World Records after pulling a plane with just his ears. The 26-year-old managed to move the 677.8kg aircraft 20.4 meters using chains attached to the holes of his pierced ears.

He went on to explain how he had managed to do the world record and what preparation he had to go through to ensure he didn’t cause himself any injury, stating: “Preparing for the plane pull was tough. I’m not going into detail but I have to stretch my ears and create tough scar tissue so they don’t rip.”

The entertainer has a series of strange records, including another one with his ears. He managed to lift a weight of 14.9kg off the floor using his lugs, while he also holds certificates for cutting apples out of both his and an assistants mouth using an petrol chainsaw, the fastest time to break 16 concrete blocks and the most melons chopped in half on someone’s stomach with a samurai sword while they are laying on a bed of nails.

According to Johnny, he has always enjoyed doing weird and unusual things to keep himself and others entertained. “I started off at the age of ten in Blackburn, Lancashire,” said Johnny. “At first I juggled balls, then clubs and went on to knives, fire sticks and now it’s chainsaws.

I am always delighted when I get another Guinness World Record and being featured in the book never gets old for me, the only problem is I’m starting to run out of places to hang up my certificates now. I’m a believer of the impossible, I’ve always been interested in the unusual and the bizarre.”

Russian Government To Create App For Alcoholics

Russian Government To Create App For Alcoholics

In another attempt to battle the country’s drinking problem, the Russian government is working on a app that will aim to help those with alcoholism and other addictions. Officials have confirmed that the app will be available from next year and include information and advice to help alcoholics who want to quit drinking.

According to Yevgeny Bryun, a leading official at the health ministry, the new app will be an incredibly useful tool for anyone who is battling an addiction and wants to go clean. It will include details of local help centers, support meeting, medical advice and access to material provided by organizations such as Alcoholics Anonymous.

Russia has one of the biggest drinking cultures in the world with the alcohol consumption in the country one of the highest in Europe. Most alarmingly, a large proportion of the alcohol drunk by Russians is spirits compared to the beer and wine that is mostly consumed in other nations.
The government has already introduced several measures to try to alleviate the problem, such as raising taxes, increasing prices and limiting how much alcohol can be bought at a time. However, that has done little to lower consumption.

Guy Mortified Of Heights Loses It On 4,700ft High Glass Bridge

If you are petrified of heights, there is a general consensus you should avoid anything that could potentially trigger your fear. That especially goes for the 4,700ft high glass bridge at the side of the Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, China — a travel destination people with fear of heights should avoid at all costs.

However, a guy featured in this video didn’t get the memo as he decided to face his fears by taking a stroll on that same bridge. And by stroll, we mean more of a very traumatised, very slow crawl. If he had a fear of heights before, we can only assume it’s sky high now. The gathered crowd had a proper laugh over the guy trying to escape his worst nightmare. And even though it’s not nice to revel in the misfortune of others, he most definitely brought this on himself. See the video below->>

Thief Steals $100,000 Formula 1 Steering Wheel

Someone has stolen a Formula 1 steering wheel from the Force India team at the Italian Grand Prix over the weekend. The piece of equipment is valued at a staggering $100,000 and police are now investigating the theft in the hopes of recovering the steering wheel.

Team officials noticed that the steering wheel was missing from their team garage on September 5 and quickly notified police that they believed it had been stolen at some point during the Saturday sessions. A team’s spokesperson said: “A steering wheel was stolen from the garage on Saturday night and the police are investigating.

While steering wheels are generally not an expensive piece of equipment, the ones inside a Formula 1 car are highly sophisticated. It acts essentially as the control center for everything on the car, allowing drivers to change the air-fuel mix, engine mode, differentials, torque curve, brake bias or open the DRS flap on the back of the car at any moment while they are driving.

The devices can have as many as 45 different switches and toggles and the LCD display can show everything from what gear the car is in to engine temperature, lap times and fuel consumption. Altogether, it can display around 100 pages of different information, explaining why the hugely complicated steering wheels are so expensive.

Loaded Weapon Found In Woman’s Vagina During Drug Arrest

Loaded Weapon Found In Woman’s Vagina During Drug Arrest

Texas police found a little more than what they were expecting during a traffic stop on Monday night. Two people in a 1998 Toyota were pulled over for an undisclosed traffic violation. Upon further searching, police found 2.7 grams of Methamphetamine under Gabriel Garcia’s seat, the man who was driving the vehicle. The female passenger, Ashley Cecilla Castaneda, had an additional 29.5 grams of the same drug in her purse.

Because the stop was next to an elementary school, both were arrested with Possession of Methamphetamine in a Drug Free Zone. However, that wasn’t the only thing they left with. The Waco Police Department reported an interesting discovery while taking her to jail: “During Castaneda’s transport to the jail she told the officer that she had concealed a handgun inside her vagina. Officers immediately stopped and a female officer searched Castaneda discovering she had in fact placed a loaded Smith and Wesson pistol inside her body cavity. The weapon had a round chambered and a full magazine of bullets.” An additional charge of not legally carrying a weapon was added to the duo’s eventful night.

North Dakota Passes Bill Legalizing Armed Police Drones

North Dakota Passes Bill Legalizing Armed Police Drones

With the increasing popularity of drones, it should come as no surprise that many police forces around the world have begun to use the devices to help them with the work they have to carry out. For the vast majority of time, though, police drones are generally only used for surveillance or to assist in searches.

That could be about to change though thanks to a new bill that has been passed in North Dakota. The bill effectively gives law enforcement the opportunity to use a variety of non-lethal weapons on drones, allowing them to incapacitate suspects and those who are a violent without putting officers in any sort of danger.

Rick Becker, a Republican representative, originally sponsored the bill but only did so in order to push through a law to allow police operated drones to carry cameras. The amendment to allow the devices to also carry stun guns, beanbag rounds, tear gas and other weapons was added without his consent by a local law enforcement lobbying group.
Fortunately for those concerned by the new bill, critics in the house ensured that no drone should carry a weapon capable of delivering lethal force.

Fire Crew Called To Put Out Christmas Pudding Fire

Fire Crew Called To Put Out Christmas Pudding Fire

We are around 100 days away from Christmas but that didn’t stop a family from cooking one of Christmas’ most popular dishes. Somebody in Devon, UK, put a Christmas pudding in the microwave to cook, only to find it ablaze without warning.

Thick smoke started to come from the microwave as the homeowner called the fire service and ran around for help from the local authorities. The firefighters were ready to put out the blaze but were surprised to hear that it wasn’t the typical firestarter; like a match or candle. “On arrival the crews confirmed that this had been a small fire involving a Christmas pudding within a microwave,” the Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue wrote.

Thankfully, after the blaze was defused, the fire didn’t cause a ton of damage. It was only restricted to the appliance, fortunately for the homeowner. This is a great lesson for all people who want to cook pudding or any food in the microwave – keep an eye on it.

Simple Laser Pointers Can Disable Self-Driving Cars

Simple Laser Pointers Can Disable Self-Driving Cars

New research from a security expert has shown that laser devices can be used to confuse and even completely disable self-driving cars, opening up the possibility that people could maliciously attack the vehicles when they are on the road.

Jonathan Petit, the principal scientists at security software company Security Innovation, carried out a number of tests using simple and cheap equipment. He was able to cause self-driving cars to slow down or stop completely by using lasers bought from shops in combination with a small computer device, with the overall set-up cost being $60.

I can spoof thousands of objects and basically carry out a denial of service attack on the tracking system so it’s not able to track real objects,” Mr Petit told IEEE Spectrum. “I can take echoes of a fake car and put them at any location I want.” He later added that he was concerned that manufacturers producing self-driving cars had not considered this form of security risk and that they would have to do so in the future. “I don’t think any of the lidar manufacturers have thought about this or tried this,” he said.

The exploit works because self-driving cars, such as the ones used by Google, rely heavily on a type of technology known as lidar, This is a combination of radar and light that fires tiny lasers in every direction and then measures how long they take to return to the sensor, allowing the on-board computer to map out objects around it. The lasers fired from the pen disrupt this and fool the sensors into believing there are objects that are not really there.

South Korea Military Get Free Mobile Phones But With One Catch

South Korea Military Get Free Mobile Phones But With One Catch

All four branches of South Korea’s military; the army, navy, air force and marines, will receive some 44,000 mobile phones over the coming days and weeks so that troops can keep in contact with friends and family. There is one slight limitation though, as the devices are only able to receive calls.

The move is being made to try to keep morale in the military high, despite rising tensions with North Korea and to stop troops having to rely on old payphones to contact their loved ones. It also solves a major problem that has plagued troops whereby important messages have only been able to be passed on slowly through an administration office.

Originally, the South Korean government only planned to deliver the mobile phones to remote barracks or those on the border with North Korea. However, manufacturer LG has agreed to fund the additional devices and pay for network costs after several conscripts in the military chose to delay their discharge from service while there is uncertainty over the relationship between the two countries.

South Korea operates compulsory national service whereby every male aged between 18 and 35 must serve between 21 and 36 months in one of the branches of the military. Recently, many of those who have completed their allotted service time have chosen not to leave their fellow soldiers in case there is an outbreak of violence.

New Dinner Tray Makes A Game Out Of Eating Vegetables

New Dinner Tray Makes A Game Out Of Eating Vegetables

They may not have the allure of a fresh cake or sweet candy, but vegetables are a much bigger part of a healthy diet. Getting kids to buy into that isn’t exactly the easiest task, unless they’re forced to live in a sugar-free home. But new technology is out to provide a much smoother alternative; remarkably, the power of video games is set to reach the dinner table.

Rodrigo Gorosterrazu struggled to get his daughter to eat her veggies time and time again, only to have a brainstorm one fateful day. Thanks to that, he and his creative firm designed Yumit, a dinner set that measures the amount of food a child eats. Lights and sounds push kids to keep eating, but there’s more to it than spectacle; the stats can transfer to an app via Bluetooth, and potentially interact with other games. Simply put, it can reward good eating habits with rewards in a kid’s game of choice.

That’s in theory, of course. Right now, Yumit is in the prototype phase, so there’s no telling how much will change before it hits the market. Likewise, games will have to adopt the tray’s reward system in some fashion for the full effect. Then again, one could argue that any invention that keeps veggies from going down the drain already has “the full effect” locked down.

One-Month Old Baby Ends Up In Hospital After Mom Mixes Vodka With Formula

A one-month-old baby is recovering in a Wisconsin hospital after her mother accidentally mixed her formula with Vodka. The baby had a blood alcohol level of 0.29% when she was admitted. USA Today reports that the baby was given the vodka by accident after the father had poured the alcohol into an empty water bottle. The father had intended to take the bottle to a friend’s house.

The 20-year old mom told authorities that she gave the baby about two ounces of the vodka with the infant’s formula. Shortly after the feeding, the mother noticed something was wrong with her daughter, including the fact that her toes were red and she wasn’t responding to her name. The problem was exacerbated, according to authorities when the parents started arguing about whose fault it was. The father even started strangling the mother. One piece of good news is that hospital officials believe the baby will be fine.
